TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, and all other healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of patients with glioblastoma.

STATEMENT OF NEED
Adult glioblastoma is a condition that is associated with an extremely poor prognosis. Treatment of adult glioblastoma, which includes surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, can prolong survival in some patients.¹ In particular, the addition of temozolomide to adult glioblastoma treatment regimens has resulted in improved outcomes in these patients.¹ However, 2-year survival rates associated with this condition are still low (<25%), and recurrence or tumor progression is frequently encountered.² Fortunately, novel biologic targets are being identified that may guide future therapy for adults with this condition.³
