For those living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), it can be challenging to eat enough
calories and obtain sufficient nutrients. Inflammation of the small intestine and/or colon may cause diarrhea, nausea,
loss of appetite, and weight loss ultimately leading to malnutrition. It is essential for IBD patients to maintain
good nutrition to help reduce symptoms, replace lost nutrients, and promote healing.
